Why we read and why I write:
From a young age I became fascinated by the fantasy books I read. The escape a book provided in an instant was my sanctuary from the ordinary. I always wanted to create a world for myself and others. I believe it is why most of us love reading. The fantasy romance collection set to fill this website is the result of that life long dream becoming a reality. There will of course be other fiction books my brain refuses to ignore in time. In either instance, now that I have begun publishing, I hope to be able to do this full time. For me that is the next step in this journey. Something I cannot do without you, so please know you are always appreciated.
My Community
Writing fantasy books is a much more involved process than I ever imagined. The journey of my first fantasy romance novel has been one of obstacles both external and internal. I came to a point in my life though where I was done fearing the possible failure or ridicule and decided to do it anyway. I want to show my sons what can be accomplished if they really work for it. Am I still scared? Absolutely. Will I let it stop me? Not for a second.
All the people in my life that have, and continue to encourage me, give me the strength to face the obstacles. Even those that visit this site are welcomed on this path. I always say, I would rather be Mad Hatter crazy than Red Queen crazy so lets do this thing together and have fun! Thank you!
